Our lens treatments are the hardest, most durable surface protection available. However, any lens can scratch or break. Please follow recommended procedures for care and cleaning. Replacement of plastic lenses with scratch resistant coating for manufacturer defects is limited to once in a 12 month period from the date of the purchase.
Frame
If your frame breaks under normal wearing conditions due to a manufacturer defect, we will repair or replace it (if still manufactured) free for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Recheck Policy
If you have any questions or concerns about your glasses then please do not hesitate to get in touch with us. We ask that you get in touch with us within 30 days of your prescription so that we can ensure that your glasses are correct.
Using Patient’s Own Frame
When filling a prescription in a used frame, there is a possibility that the frame may break in the process of lens replacement. When you use your own frame, there could be damage that we cannot see. When the lab inserts lenses they have to heat and manipulate the frame. During this process, any slight prior damage to the frame can cause it to break. Hollister Optometric Center will not be responsible for replacing used frames that are broken during the lens replacement process.
Progressive Lens Non-Adapt
Under Hollister Optometric Center’s progressive non-adapt policy you have 90 days from the date of purchase to exchange your progressives for another product of equal or lesser value.
